USE OF 'PAS' in Ayrvedic medicine.

Pulse Analysis System :
Latest researches in computer pulse diagnostics have shown an opportunity of its application in dietology. Now it is opening a possibility to control the balance of the meal by the most inexpensive way on the synthesis of thousands of years knowledge of Ayrveda and modern pulse computer diagnostics.

Theory of a substantiation of application of pulse diagnostics for dietology of Ayrveda : It is a well known fact that daily circulation of Qi-energy in TCM Five Elements is represented as follows:

PAS
It is known also what doshas are predominant during the day and the night, each in it's time.
The order of doshas is follows:
Vata doha predominants at 2 a.m. - 6 a.m. and 3 p.m. - 7 p.m.;
Pitta dosha at 12 p.m. - 2 a.m. and 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.;
Kapha dosha at 6 a.m. - 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. - 12 p.m.

If we carefully examine the Fig. 1, we could see that order of doshas almost coincides with three pair of TCM Elements:

  • 1. Vata with Metal and Water;
  • 2. Pitta with Tree and Fire;
  • 3. Kapha with Soil and Fire-Minister.

This situation does not contradict to U-Sin low, because the this pairs are placed in order of mutual birth:

  • 1. Metal gives birth to water (Vata);
  • 2. Tree gives birth to Fire (Pitta);
  • 3. Fire-Minister gives birth to Soil (Kapha).
Then the doshas could be translated to TCM 5-Elements this way;

Let's take an example of PAS registration one of the patient:

The bottom line of Fig.3 (red and dark blue figures) shows (in percents) a total condition of activity each of Five-elements (the full Fire-Element is consist of Fire and Fire-Minister).

From the Fig.3 we should be able to summarize figures in order of doshas (Fig.2):
The Vata dosha is the sum of Metall and Water -             +0.35+0.10=+0.45%
The Pitta dosha is the sum of Tree and Fire -           -1.76+2.53=+0.77%
The Kaph dosha is the sum of Fire-Minister and Soil -           -3.61+2.40=-0.88%

Thus we can determine that there is a lack of activity Kapha dosha and another doshas have excessive activity. This is integrative diagnosis, but the PAS gives the information about balance inside the doshas too:

In our case:-
The Vata dosha is balanced well;
The Pitta dosha and the Kapha dosha are balanced unsatisfactory and Kapha dosha is a more bad.

It is possible to use data obtained by PAS even every day to correct your diet according to Ayrveda and to change it according to your dosha condition in the body. Such preventive maintenance of health becomes accessible to everybody who will master simple system of measurement of health by the PAS.
