I am also vry interested in teh Ayurvedic perspective on HIV/AIDS and would be keen to see your dissertation if you are willing to share this. My research has led me to mention of a condition called Ojakshaya in verses 72/75 of chapter "Upakalpneeya" in the book Charka Sambita. This depict the clinical picture of 'Ojakshaya', which is similar to that of modern day AIDS. Shosha is another condition, which results from loss of energy that is similar to AIDS.
