Diet and lifestyle are two main cause of obesity.
Diet: Diet is a huge factor in the cause of obesity. People who eat large quantities of food and drink high-calorie beverages will be at risk for weight gain.
Lifestyle: A person's lifestyle can also contribute to their risk for obesity. If someone doesn't exercise or has an inactive lifestyle, they will have a higher chance of becoming obese.
Weight Loss -
For those who are overweight, weight loss can be achieved through dieting and exercise programs which will help them burn more calories than they take in.
Dieting:- Dieting is the process of reducing calorie intake, while exercising is the process of increasing calorie expenditure.The typical diet consists of a low-calorie intake of about 1,200 calories per day. This will cause weight loss over time because it reduces the amount of energy that is consumed.
Exercise:- The typical exercise routine consists of 30 minutes or more each day to increase calorie expenditure while also increasing muscle mass and strength.

- Garlic

This also decreases your appetite, making you eat less food.
